About EnvIndex
EnvIndex maps the companies, environments, datasets, benchmarks, verifiers, and infrastructure shaping reinforcement-learning and agent post-training.
Why it exists
Most market maps stop at company names. Most environment registries stop at open-source packages. EnvIndex connects both: who builds the systems, what they have made, how it can be accessed, and what evidence supports each claim.
Who runs it
The current public repository does not identify an individual operator. EnvIndex will not invent a biography or imply institutional backing. An attributable operator name, relevant experience, contact details, and conflict disclosures should be published here when legitimately supplied.
Editorial principles
- Evidence over claims; primary sources first.
- Unknown is a useful answer and never silently becomes No.
- Private inventory can be documented without exposing proprietary material.
- Vendors may propose facts; editorial verification remains independent.
- Corrections are welcome and change history should remain visible.
- Paid or investor relationships must not determine factual status.
Participate
Submit a company, list an artifact, propose a correction, or read the full methodology. Submissions enter review and are not treated as verified on receipt.
